Master Classes - Firdaria, Triplicities and Profections, medieval predictive techniques for the modern astrologer
27 January and 10 Feburary 2019 - 15:00 to 18:00 GMT
Medieval Predictive Techniques: Firdaria, triplicity and profection
Three key predictive techniques of medieval astrology are covered in these two Master Classes. All three techniques happily merge with contemporary astrology, thus providing you with extra tools to help you with predictive work.
Attending the Master Class
You attend the Master Class online from your own computer - PC or MAC, or you can use your iPhone or iPad. We use WebEx which is a special service which enables us to all see and hear each other while also being able to share Power Points, white boards and chat boxes. Once you register for a class we will send you information and the link - the key - to the seminar room. For more information onwhat this is like to use click here.
27 January - Medieval Predictive Techniques: Firdaria
The Firdaria is a technique which offers a person a way of gaining an insight into the ‘health’ of their planets. This Persian concept refers to a system of planetary periods where the life is divided into irregular periods of years, with each period being ruled by a planet, luminary or nodal axis. The quality of that period of time and the style of events is thus dictated by the condition of the planet in the chart.
You then take two weeks to play with the technique and at the start of the second seminar on the 10 February we will have time for questions at the beginning.
10 Febuary - Medieval Predictive Techniques: triplicity and profection
Directing by triplicity provides a life-overview tool. It is the symbolic division of the rising sign into thirds, representing the beginning, middle, and end of a person’s life. Knowing the condition of the planet connected with each third of life can be insightful in helping a person shape their future pathway. Profections are woven into the solar return and provide a focus for a particular year. Thus Directing by triplicity provides a broad sweep of the whole life whilst profections focus on the detail of one year.
The main tutor for this master class is Bernadette Brady
RECORDINGS and Power Point Presentations:
The Master Classes are recorded - sound, video and Power Points - but these recordings are ONLY made available to those who attend as we will be working with people's birth charts. Also you will also be emailed the Power Point presentations before the Master Class so that you can print them out and make notes as you go.
‘Medieval Predictive Astrology for the 21st Century’ - Bernadette Brady.
You will need to have chart-reading skills. You do not, however, need to have any knowledge of medieval astrology.
Each Master Class is £65. You can, if you wish, just enrol for the first part, but if you wish a deeper contact with the subject, then we suggest you enrol for both parts (six hours of classes).
You can cancel your registration up to a month before the date of the Master Class. Such cancellations will be refunded in full, back to the credit card you have used for your initial payement. If, however, you have to miss your Master Class we can emailed you the link to the recording if you wish. Please note recordings will only be made available for people who have registered for the Master Class and either have been unable to attend or for some reason have problems accessing the web.
Certificate of Attendance
Having completed attendance of both sessions, a ‘Certificate of Attendance’ will be issued.
