Admission & Requirements

International Diploma in Astrology Entry requirements

The first step in the diploma is the Delineation series of modules which form the foundation stone of your astrological study, they enable you to acquire the skills of delineating the whole chart, not in a piece-meal manner planet by planet like a computer report but learning to synthesize the whole chart by understanding its continuing narrative, thus revealing the person's nature and life journey.

In order to begin these modules we assume that you:

  1. can calculate a chart by hand.
  2. know how to use, and own, an ephemeris.
  3. have a good basic knowledge of the planets, houses, signs and aspects.

If you do have this basic knowledge then you are ready to begin the journey of the International Diploma of Astrology with Astro Logos.

If you do not have this basic knowledge

You can purchase beginner materials from us. We would recommend that you begin with the Student Pack - "The Zodiac" Studyshop and "The Horoscope's Angles" Studyshop. These are CDs which you play in your computer and which contain supplementary visual and textual material. You may have already purchased some Studyshops from us before. If so you will be familiar with this style of learning. Then we would suggest that you follow this with the "Planets and Aspects Kit" which are lectures and an electronic workbook which also play in your computer. All of this will take you at least twelve months of self-study after which you can consider enrolling in an online school and proceeding form there.

Medieval Astrology Diploma Entry requirements

The Medieval Astrology Diploma is designed to build on your already-acquired skills of the modern astrologer. This Medieval Astrology Diploma assumes that you are already skilled in chart delineation, predictive techniques and may even be seeing clients. If you have been seriously studying astrology for at least two years with a teacher or another school, then you should have the skills that you need to enter the Medieval Astrology Diploma stream.

In order to begin this Medieval Astrology Diploma, we assume that you:

  1. can calculate a chart by hand.
  2. know how to use, and own, an ephemeris.
  3. have a good basic knowledge of the planets, houses, signs and aspects.
  4. have a basic understanding of simple planetary combinations.
  5. have an understanding of transits and progressions.
  6. have an understanding of solar returns.

Please be aware that you may be asked to complete an Entry Assessment

The Medieval Astrology Diploma is taught over four semesters and each semester must be passed in order for you to enrol in the next one. If you are weak in any of the above topics, Bernadette may suggest after your first semester of Medieval that you undertake the Delineation or Predictive Diploma modules before you continue with the Medieval Astrology Diploma.
