Spring or Winter Intensive Schools: The Astro Logos
intensive schools are held in the
northern hemisphere Spring (July-August) and northern hemisphere
Autumn (January-February). They
run for six weeks continuously and are a
unique intense learning experience where you deepen and sharpen your
astrology through tutor-directed study and lectures combined with
on-line interaction. They allow you to connect with other like-minded
students who are all exploring this deeper approach to charts.
What is being taught and assessed?
The online schools contain weekly
assignments of around 300-500 word essays considering single aspects in
a chart. We train you in how to
synthesise
these components in a psychological, mythological and practical manner.
The essays are marked but not scored
and you learn as much form the comments made by the tutor regarding your
work as from the comments made by the tutor to other students. The
intensive schools are designed to allow the tutors at Astro Logos to
ascertain the level of your astrology.
What happens after the Spring or Winter School completes?
The Interim Level of Delineation
online school:
Depending on the level of your learning and based on the work you have
handed in over the course of the six weeks, you may be offered a place
on the next module - the Interim Level of Delineation which considers
two aspects in a chart and how they affect and can be read for a friend,
family member or client. This course also runs for
six weeks continuously.
Again you will be sending in weekly assignments, this time of around
500-800 words. Again these are marked but not scored. However, added to
the written workload, there are compulsory once a week, two hour online
tutorials. These are the practical sessions where students discuss the
aspects that have been considered in the written work.
This online school can only be entered when a student has
completed either the Summer School or the Winter School.
What happens after the Interim Level of Delineation Online school completes?
The Diploma Delineation online module:
Depending on the level of your learning and based on the work you
have handed in over the course of the six weeks, you may be offered a
place on the professional module - the Diploma Delineation module. This
course runs for fourteen weeks
continuously and teaches you how to read the whole chart for a client.
Again you
will be sending in assignments, this time of around 800-1,000
words. However, this time these are marked and scored, so you can
ascertain how effective you would be at helping a client as a
professional astrologer. Again there are compulsory once a week, 90
minutes online tutorials. The module completes with you writing a
compulsory Guild assignment which is the entry into the next
professional module, the Predictive module. It can also count towards
the final AGE Int. Diploma if you wish. This module has
Online tutorials which support the
lectures that are sent to you on CD.
What happens after the Interim Level of Delineation Online school completes?
The Diploma Delineation Work Experience online module:
This is a five month month meeting once a month where students
are expected to read charts for clients and report back each session on
their successes, as well as ask questions regarding clients they will be
seeing in the next month. This module is where you truly become an
astrologer.
What happens after the Diploma Delineation Work Experience online module completes?
You will be able to enrol in the Diploma Predictive Module.
