What you need to take part in the real
time online tutorials or Master Classes:
(Please note at this stage the Virtual Tutorial room will not run on
a MAC)
 A
computer with a sound card.
If your computer makes noises at you, then it has a sound card!
A microphone, so you can talk to us and the
rest of the students.
A simple headset is best here and they can be bought quite
cheaply from any computer store. The headset must be for hearing as
well as have a microphone for talking. This headset then plugs into
your computer.
Optional Extra...
A web
cam, so we can see you.
The virtual class room contains video features, so you will be
able to see us. Whoever is talking in the tutorial is visible to
everyone else if they have a webcam as well. Webcams are quite cheap
now and are as easy to install as a mouse. If you do not have a
webcam, then you can upload your photograph in the classroom -
if you wish. We have found that Logitech or Creative
are the two brands that are most compatible with the online tutorial
software, CloudMeeting.

When you enrol in the International Diploma in Astrology or the
Diploma in Medieval Astrology or the Diploma in Fixed Stars or a
Master Class series you will
also take part in online real time tutorials
conducted by Bernadette Brady or Darrelyn Gunzburg. You can partake
of your module's tutorials and as a Astro Logos student you are
allowed to sit in on any other tutorials of the other modules.
Once you are enrolled you will be sent the link and
password to the Astro Logos online tutorial room with detailed
instructions on how to download and use the software.

The real-time
online tutorials will be scheduled at times that we feel will work
best with the time zone differences between everyone.
The real time
tutorials are essential for the course that you will be studying
and are an important extra support system to which allows you to see us and
talk to us and your fellow students.
The real-time
tutorial space contains video links, sound links, text chat links,
desk top viewing, and any student can open their own chart software
program and share a chart with all the other students at the
tutorial.
The cyber
space seminar room is available to all students of
Astro Logos so that you can, if you arrange for us to open the room
for you, meet other students for discussions
outside scheduled tutorial sessions.
