The Sky and the Stars in your chart
A
Visual Astrology consultation will give you the whole big picture at the
moment of your birth, sky patterns, constellations and the ancient myths
contained within the fixed stars. Bernadette takes all of these components
and weaves them into the story of your natal chart. This is a reading that
gives insight and understanding as to the deep momentum that seems to pull
you through your life.

For the reading Bernadette generates many
different printouts all of which are sent to you. However, standard
printouts which are discussed in detail are sky maps for your moment
of birth, usually at least two. (see example opposite).
Additionally the fixed stars will be
listed, with different types of chart printouts (see example below)
with a full printed computer report (not used in the consultation but
supplied to you for your own additional personal information on
the stars). |

The consultation by Bernadette is recorded
on an audio tape and generally is about 60 minutes in length. During
this time, Bernadette will step you through the issues that emerge
from the marriage of your natal chart, the sky, and the mythology of
the stars.
The completed audio tape is copied (in case it gets lost in the post)
and then it, plus ALL the paper work and maps are airmailed to you.
Once you have safely received the reading we wipe the audio copy of
your consultation. |

Bernadette Brady is considered one of the world's leading thinkers in the
astrological use of fixed stars and sky myths. Since the mid-1980s
Brady has involved herself in intensive research on
the fixed stars in astrology and this work was first published in 1999 by
Samuel Weiser
(USA) as Brady's Book of Fixed Stars. She developed this further in
her
software Starlight (Zyntara Publications, UK). Additionally,
through her work in the Visual Astrology Newsletter, she is
re-introducing the idea of visual astrology - the reading of sky maps and
star phases - back into natal astrology.
Bernadette works with
both sky maps for your time of birth, as well as parans - the
consideration of which of the sixty four major stars of
the sky were rising, culminating, setting or on the nadir at the same time
as any one of the planets was also on an angle on the day you were
born. This ancient method was first used by the Egyptians for religious
practices and later discussed by Claudius Ptolemy in 150
CE in his work Phases of the Stars.

What the Stars add
to your chart.
Your horoscope is a wondrous tool for understanding the mythological
intertwining of your personality and your mind and every chart contains
difficult aspects or planetary combinations. This is called being human.

your chart may also have an important star linked with it which will
